Excelling in business as a woman without burning out

Being in your feminine allows you to be in ease and receptivity for you to actually allow all that hard work to bear fruit and excel in business as a woman without burning out.

It also allows you to be creative in ways you wouldn’t experience being in your masculine (hustling and burning the candle at both ends usually doesn’t produce inspiration…you feel me?). 
I see hustle as doing all the things at all times with zero flexibility and constant output. It’s having a time block for focus and then a time block for creative work, then a time block for a 15 minute lunch break, then back to back meetings….

That works for a man’s biology (and his hormones actually work to give him energy throughout the day IN THAT ORDER). It’s the same day in, and day out. His hormones peak, drop, and replenish within a 24-hour period.

You have the same ability to do those things but extended. While you certainly have all cylinders firing throughout the day and can vacillate between work, creative, mom mode, etc. you will likely find overarching themes of energy in extended periods.
As a general guideline, your 28-day infradian rhythm has 4 specific energetic phases drawn out over the month- you have a week of social energy, then about 2 weeks of hyper focus and productivity, then you need a little R&R and then you move into a phase of new ideas and creativity.

What burns women out is two fold:

  1. the idea that all of those things are present all day in unlimited quantities

  2. The abandonment of the rest period. A man’s hormones drop to their lowest point in the evening and they go into an energy conservation state. You don’t have that every day outside of your normal sleep/wake cycle but you DO have an energy restoration state in the form of your menstrual phase.

So essentially women are walking around thinking they should have abundance creativity, attention to detail, perfect communication and relationships…all without rest and while working directly against their biology.
Your body works in a fascinating and POWERFUL way. When I was working from the corporate structure I was sick, had no mental clarity, and felt like I got nothing done each day because it felt like I was bouncing from one thing to the next without really resolving my creative process, or finishing that project, or being able to have deep and meaningful conversations with those I cared about, and I didn’t make time for rest or proper nourishment.
Fast forward to now where I cycle sync and devote my days to living from my naturally abundant and was full feminine- I take time off around my period with zero guilt. Then, in my follicular phase I am bursting with inspiration and creativity! As I hit the halfway point of my cycle I feel magnetic and aligned with projects and know exactly what to do next (most of the time 😘). Then as I lean into my luteal phase I fine tune details of my projects, plan ahead for the next month, and feel deeply connected to my internal world. I don’t have PMS, my periods are deeply healing and comfortable, my relationships are thriving, and I feel at peace.

So here’s the thing, you can keep surviving in a man’s world, but why would you when you can thrive in your womanhood? Redesigning your life to work for YOU not only provides better results but it also honors and nourishes you and your whole community.
